In Bruges

We stayed the night in Dover in a little hostel. It didn't look nice from the outside, but it was nice. After a big breakfast, we drove onto the ferry to Dover. We played a card game called "Stop the Bus" to pass the time. I beat the pants off Mum and Dad!

It didn't take long to drive to Bruges, but we were all very tired when we got to the Youth Hostel. I did some drawing and writing on a blackboard there.

After we had a rest we walked into the old town. It was beautiful! We had to watch out because the streets were narrow and there were lots of people on bikes as well as horses and carriages!

There are lots of very old and beautiful buildings.

Mama is moe (tired)

They even have my favorite food in Bruges... 'Come to me my darling garlic bread!'

Heading home.

  3. Room 14 has just had another look at your Blog. It looks like you are having an amazing trip and it is bringing back many memories for Miss Watt. The children think you are very lucky.

It is book week this week and later today the author Lucy Davey is coming to talk to us. Tonight we have milk and cookies night. The children are looking forward to seeing Miss Watt in her PJs!

We look forward to the next update.

    Take care and safe travels
