Gorgeous sunny Heidelberg

We are very lucky with the weather! Today was lovely and warm and there were no clouds in the sky. We caught the tram into the city and it was beautiful!






I was chasing bubbles with these other kids.



We ate our lunch in the shade in a square.


This is the Marktplatz.





Up on the hill behind us is a huge old castle. The German word for castle is schloss.





This is the view of Heidelberg from the schloss.





Some parts of the castle were wrecked down, but other parts were fine.














This is a pharmacy museum inside the schloss.



The autumn colours are starting to show.


Dad got tired of carrying my hat. So he wore it.


There was a boat race on the river.


We did lots of walking and my legs got tired.


So we had a drink to cool off.


There are Christmas decorations on display in lots of shops.
