Venice markets & NZ Bulls

Saturday 8 October.

This morning, we walked to the Rialto Bridge and went to the Rialto Markets.

Mum took heaps of photos of the fruit and vege stalls and of the fish markets. It was very busy. There were lots of Venetian people doing their shopping there.

Not only did mum take lots of photos of food but then she started taking photos of things. I joined in.

We had lunch outside at a cafe in a little square. Mums said her lunch was the best she's ever had!!!!

There was a man in the square making huge bubbles. I liked chasing them and popping them!

I LOVE Venice!

We found a sculpture exhibition by a New Zealand artist called Michael Parakowhai. One of his sculptures was a real grand piano that he had covered in Maori carvings.

Two other sculptures were also grand pianos, but they weren't real and they both had huge bulls on them. There's me playing one of the pianos.

Us at the end of the day. Mum and dad took zillions of photos today!
