Bath

We walked around Bath and spent lots of time looking around the Roman Baths. I liked the roman baths because the steam warmed me up and in one part I could put my hand in. It wasn't steaming hot but was like a warm bath. The baths were about 2000 years old.

Waiting for the Ferry at Calais

Our ferry was delayed because of bad weather but we still managed to drive to Stonehenge, drive down a tiny country lane near Bath and find a B&B in the countryside near Bath.

Monet's Garden at Giverny

After a harrowing drive out of Paris we drove to the beautiful village of Giverny. All of a sudden there were only two cars and lots of flowers. We had the yummiest lunch at a cafe where there were three cute little RABBITS.


I loved the pink, purple and yellow lily pads in Monet's gardens.



We saw the bridge Monet painted in his water lily paintings.

The carvings and reliefs are beautiful.

It wasn't like I expected it to look.I didn't expect the carvings on it. I expected them on the top but not on the legs.


There was a parade when we were there to celebrate Royal British Legion where lots of people Pedalled to Paris.

L'Open Bus Tour

Today, we walked up to Montmartre. We stopped at a cafe and lots of artists came and asked Mum and Dad if they could draw a picture of me, but they said no... Boring!



There were lots of paintings for sale in the square. I loved the ones of flowers.

We visited the Sacre Couer. It is a beautiful church on a hill with amazing views of the city. Mum and Dad took heaps of photos.



I got to have a ride on a carousel. It wasn't as wild and crazy as I hoped it would be.




After lunch, we got on a hop-on-hop-off bus that took us around the city. We saw the Louvre and the cathedral of Notre Dame.

Eiffel Tower

Today was very hot. It was 31 degrees! After the market we got on the metro to go to the Eiffel tower. There were long queues but we already had a ticket. We went to the very top but had to wait ages in another


queue to get there. I sat in the shade a lot.

Morning market

On Saturday morning we walked to meet up with Brenda, mums friend. I had chocolat chaud and pain au chocolat. We bought some flowers, fruit and croissants from the local market. I took lots of photos.

Fantastic Paris

We have a lovely apartment in Montmartre but we have to walk up 87 steps to get to it. It is on the 5th floor and has no lift. It has lovely views. This photo was taken on the morning we arrived.

Horrible humidity in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is the most humid place I've ever been in. There were no one story buildings. Every building was gigantic!!! I liked having the earphones in my ears when we were on the bus tour. I got three blisters on my feet because my feet were so hot and my shoes were new.

There were lots of dragon flies up on the Peak. At first I thought they were flies and then I noticed them and then I saw they were dragon flies.

International Tooth Fairy

I lost my wobbly tooth while I was having lunch at the airport before we got on the plane. I hope the tooth fairy finds it.

Only two sleeps to go

and I'm having dinner at my Oma and Opa's. We are having erwten soep (pea soup) and hutspot (untranslatable) for dinner.

Oma and Opa are going to drop us off at the airport on Thursday. That's two more sleeps to go and I'm going to miss ALL ALL ALL my best friends at school - even my teacher Miss Watt - even the whole entire school, and also my other friends who aren't at my school. They are so jealous of me.

I am practicing some other languages like italian, like um Buono notte (good night), and french, like Bonjour (hello) and Au revoir (good bye) and Mademoiselle (young lady) and german, like Guten Morgen (good morning) and guten tag (good day) and dutch, like en, twee, drie, vier, vijf, zes, zeven, acht, negen en tien (one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine and ten).
